Because emerging leadership is such a broad category, the book provides two case studies where emerging leaders go through the development process and share their answers on the worksheets and to the reflection questions. The first is Demetrius, a program manager for an IT company and also an MBA student. The second is Jonathan, Founder and Field Director in Latin America at Illini Prosthetic Technologies (IPT). He is also a graduate of LeaderShape Institute graduate. Our goal is to provide real life information that will help you in your personal development process.
The book is organized into eight chapters. The first two chapters talk about innovative leadership and emerging leadership. The final six chapters explain the development process and provide worksheets, reflection questions and case studies. The development process is reflected in the following image.
